Signage Glossary

Aluminum

Primarily used for yard and window signs, aluminum is one of the most durable signage materials available. With proper care, aluminum signs should last for at least 3 to 5 years.

Art Board

Primarily used indoors, art board is an inexpensive advertising choice. Businesses use art board because of the professional image it projects.

Banner

Primarily used for advertising at a distance, banners capture a larger audience than the other signage options but are also more expensive. With proper care, banners should last for at least 2 years.

Corrugated Plastic (aka Coroplast)

Primarily used for yard signs, corrugated plastic is a lightweight and tough material. It is an inexpensive alternative to aluminum.

Magnetic

Primarily used for advertising on vehicles, magnetic signs are the most effective and efficient form of outdoor advertising. Businesses usually advertise with magnetic signs in sets of 2 (one for each side of the vehicle).

Turnaround Time

Turnaround time is defined as how long it takes to process and ship an order. It usually doesn't include shipping time.

Vinyl Lettering

Primarily used for advertising on vehicles and windows, vinyl lettering can be applied quickly and usually lasts much longer than paint.
