Installing BannersThe most common ways to install banners are using:
The best attachment for your banner depends on where you'll be installing it. Bungee cords and rope are best used for hanging banners outside. Zip ties are best used for attaching banners to metal fences. Suction cups are best used for mounting banners on windows. Velcro is best used for mounting banners on walls. BuildASign sells all of these banner attachments except for rope. Installing with Bungee Cords, Rope, Zip Ties, or Suction CupsSimply hook the banner attachments you’re using through the grommet holes in your banner. The grommet holes are the metal or plastic rings in the corners of your banner. Then, fasten the other end of the banner attachments to secure your banner in place. Installing with VelcroAttach the "hook" side of the Velcro strips to the back of your banner. The "hook" side is the rough side of Velcro and allows for greater flexibility with regards to what surfaces you can hang your banner. If you can’t find a surface that your banner will attach to, you can always attach the "loop" side of the Velcro strips to the wall. The "loop" side is the rough side of Velcro. Before attaching multiple Velcro strips to your wall, we recommend attaching a small strip of Velcro to make sure you will be able to remove it later on without damaging the wall. Your banners should last for a long time if you take care of them properly. When you're not using them, keep them in a cool, dry area. Roll your banners up with the graphics facing outside. Do not fold your banners as creases are difficult to remove. |
